10/25/10 Very nice article on the Social Graf today about income status and FB usage.
Too many business owners market the way THEY want rather than catering to a selected target audience. I can help with that....:-) If you can't access the article below, just let me know and I'll send it to you.

10/20/10 For all FB friends out there, I suggest you check your visible birthdate information. In my opinion, you should show only PART, if any, of that information. That coupled with your mother's maiden name (sometimes also shown on some posts) may be all you need to access some bank accounts.

10/4/10 In an effort to retain air service to our area, SeaPort Airlines is hosting a public open house at the Warrenton-Astoria Regional Airport from 2 -5pm on October 13. New schedules and a new plane will be showcased, plus the open house will feature refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, including a Troon Vineyard wine pouring and Prodigal Son beer tasting for attendees of age. 9/27/10 For my pilot friends from AVWEB: A group of University of Toronto students has just announced that a flight of their human-powered flapping-wing aircraft, The Snowbird, on August 2 may have set an FAI record with a "first ever" flight for its kind. The group believes that after being towed aloft, the aircraft maintained speed and altitude for 19.3 seconds and covered approximately 145 meters while flying at 25.6 km/h. During that time, it was powered solely by its pilot and designer, U of T engineering Ph.D. candidate Todd Reichert, who estimates he's capable of about 0.3 horsepower. Reichert believes his team's effort represents the first ever sustained flight of a human-powered ornithopter. The FAI ruling committee (the record keepers) is expected to offer its opinion in October. http://tinyurl.com/24a9uqd

The funniest quote from the article, to me, is that "33% of married women believe that their pets are better listeners than are their husbands." Ha! Let me know what you think!
7/26/10 Tiny tweet tip for the day....how many of you have your tweets set up to automatically post from your Facebook account? We can help with that.
6/29/10 Everybody log onto kast1370.com for listen live today. Rather than the usual mid-day programming, there is a radiothon (sp?) for the Liberty Theater. Don't forget tonight is also a birthday celebration at the Liberty for Michael Foster to add to the fundraising efforts.

7/25/09 For a confirmation of the number of times an ad needs to be seen to be effective, click on this link: Say it again, Sam. The tricky part is that this was originally written in 1886 and is still PRETTY much valid today, except for the part about telling his wife to go buy the product.....:-)

7/10/09 This email newsletter called Email Insider contains several options for “fixing” errors in email messages even after they have been sent, including linking a photo to the incorrect -- yet sent-- address, notifying a site administrator of a page error, hopefully, before more recipients would have opened the email, sending a follow up correction email, or simply sending an apology. Read the full article at http://tinyurl.com/nehxya. Let me know what you think.

7/6/09 I received an email newsletter today which I consider to be a must-read. It covers marketing of luxury products and services to Baby Boomers and contains insight from Ben Kline of my “alma mater,” Leo Burnett in Chicago. Kline believes that consumers are not just cutting back on spending; they’re reassessing what is important. The article is succinct and well written and suggests a few strategies for marketers of luxury products. The link may be found at http://www.mediapost.com/publications/?fa=Articles.showArticle&art_aid=109222.
Let me know what you think of it.
