Closing Dates

Ad space reservations and copy to be typeset must be received no later than the 20th of the month prior to the month of publication. Camera-ready copy may be received as late as the 25th of the month prior to the month of publication.

Advertising Policies

Copy Responsibility: Copy submission is the responsibility of the advertiser. Advertising from the previous insertion will be run if no copy is received by close of the publication as stated above. If no previous insertion exists, the advertiser is responsible for payment of contracted space not used.
Copy Acceptance: The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising for any reason. Advertising that simulates editorial content may be clearly marked "advertising" by the publisher. Advertisers or their agencies will indemnify and hold harmless the publisher from and against any loss or expense resulting from claims or suites for defamation, libel, violation of privacy, plagiarism, copy infringement or any other reason.
Rate Changes/Cancellations: Rates may be changed upon 60 days written notice to advertisers under contract. Increases for non-contract advertisers are effective as of the published rate card date. Contracts may be cancelled, with re-billing for discounts already taken, at any time before closing date for any given month.

Binding: Saddle stitch or glued.

Bleed: 1/4" beyond trim edges.
Keep live matter inside trim.
Colors: Black plus second color that changes monthly.
Materials: Velox prints, PMTs, Camera-ready laser prints or e-mailed or disk documents if compatible with MacIntosh software.
Proofs: Proofs will be available prior to publication of first-run ads which are typeset by our staff. Pick-up copy will not be proofed unless requested.
Production: No charge for standard ad production. Photography/bleeds/
special charges will be billed as incurred. Either a frequency discount or a 15% agency commission will be granted to recognized agencies placing camera-ready copy. No double discounts will be granted.

Discounts/Premiums/Terms

Discounts: Advertising must be inserted within 1 year of the first insertion to earn frequency discount rates. Advertisers who do not complete a committed schedule will be subjected to a short-term rate. Credits earned by increasing frequency during a contract year may be applied toward future space billing. No cash rebates will be made.
Qualifying non-profit organizations may be granted a 10% discount from published rates.
Premiums: Preferred positions may be requested and a 10% surcharge will be assessed on earned space rates.
Terms: 7 day net. Interest will accrue at the rate of 1 1/2% per month. Publisher reserves the right to collect all allowable charges, including attorney fees, for the collection of delinquent accounts.
