According to Cannon Beach Supporter George Vetter, Sandcastle Contest photos are now up on Cannon-Beach Net. Once again, he said, he was on the beach for set-up at 630am. "This year’s event was blessed with perfect weather, a very nice crowd and a fine display of art in sand. The sculpture building began at 930am. By 2pm, finishes touches were being put on that last of the creations. At 3pm, cars had to be off the beach and at 630pm high tide reclaimed the borrowed sand."
