n From the August 2 issue of Information Week magazine is the news that WebSideStory Inc. had released HitBox Enterprise, an online site-analysis service designed to provide businesses with immediate information on Web-site visitor trends and habits. HitBox Enterprise tracks more than 500 visitor statistics and provides real-time, graphics-rich reports in the HTML format. Pricing for the service starts at less than $1 per day. n The Wheeler Business Association is sponsoring the 5th Annual Salmon-Berry Fest on Saturday and Sunday, September 11 & 12. The event includes an old-fashioned Salmon feed and open air market. It will be held from noon to 6pm each day in Wheeler Waterfront Park and all proceeds will go to the beautification of Wheeler. A $10 donation lets you join the Salmon feed with all the "fixins," pop, wine and beer, blackberry pie and ice cream, plus "speeder" rides on the railroad track and foot-tapping music. n The September workshop for the Lower Columbia Preservation Society will be about "The Care and Feeding of your Wood Windows." The workshop will be held Saturday, September 18 in Kevin Palo's Ten-Mile Planing Mill at the old Bumblebee shipyard, 9th and Olney (next to Clatsop Retirement Village) on Highway 202. Topics include the history of windows, why they are made the way they are, replacement versus repair, epoxy methods, re-roping, weatherization, glazing, sash replacement, vinyl jam liners, insulated glass, and alternatives to wood windows. The workshop is free to LCPS members and $5 for non-members. For an additional $5 , individuals receive a year's membership enabling you to attend all workshops for free or at a discount.

n The Great Columbia Crossing, a multi-event fundraiser for the Columbia Memorial Hospital Foundation, will be held October 9 and 10, 1999. Brad Thomas from the hospital is recruiting corporate teams and so far, the following have enlisted:
