Corrine Barclay, owner of Barclay's Flora in St. Helens plans a move across the street in July. The new address will be 260 1st street and the name will be changing to Barclay's Flora - Flowers, Gifts and Garden Art. Hours at the new location will be Monday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Tami Falletti of Cannon Beach Property Management has successfully completed a professional development seminar, sponsored by the Vacation Rental Managers Assoc-iation. According to a press release, VRMA is the only professional service organization dedicated to improving the service and performance of the vacation rental industry. The seminar focused on employee development, marketing, customer satisfaction and other issues affecting vacation rental managers. Congratulations Tami.

Pacific Personnel of Seaside has a new employee and a new office. Susan Anderson has joined the firm and will be the branch manager for the new Pacific Personnel office, located at 311 West Marine Drive (across from Kentucky Fried Chicken) in Astoria. Anderson is originally from Iowa, but spent the last six years in Beaverton, since her husband Keith is a native Oregonian. Susan spent the last two years working for CB Richard Ellis in the human resources department. She has ten years of experience in human resources, in payroll plus employee interviewing and selection. "The Astoria office will help because people looking for work or those looking for workers can just drop by," said Anderson. "I will also be out meeting with business owners. We will do staffing and employment services so the managers aren't bogged down with the paperwork." The hours of operation at the new office will be 8a - 5p Monday through Friday.
